a moment stop in time #1

was chatting up w a friend. suddenly we chat bout moment stop in time.

it made me reminiscing of a time when i just stood there, looking at tat picture of stopped moment for a little more longer, hoping no vehicles passing along the way so i can savor the stopped essence, emersing meself in my reverie a while.

*phew..deep thoughts.

it made me question of the many times as i watched some moments which i hope i'll remember, some moments i hope is worth the memories i reserve for it, memories tat sometimes becomes so distant, u feel it as deja vu.

i had a few of those memories. it has the same feel as when u watched forrest gump movie, the part where gump explained to his gal bout the places he's been; the sunset he watched as he stood on his shrimping boat, the view he had as he did the marathon thingy and when he passed a lake where one cant diff between when the earth starts or the skies touches, or the time i walked back from school alongside my street, soft breeze, and saw the flowers in the garden in full bloom against the whitewash walls of my house, framed in blue; moments stopped in time.

some of tis moments made me question stuff:

"will i remember today or tis moment in the next 5 years? 10 years? when i'm old and forgotten?"

apparently i do, the memories' so slight but seems as clear as yesterday. sometimes questioning oneself does make one remembers.

hmm..makes me think of another thing; songs unsung.

read a book once, the first page was talking bout a guy asking tis author on where wuld he be able to find ppl with no worries in the world. the author brought him to a graveyard. fine, makes sense. then the author started to question bout some ppl who went to their grave w their song still unsung. hmm..romantic view.

anyway, song unsung, nice concept. abstract and beautifully pronounced. it beats the term lifeless anyday. makes me feel like i wanna do it. nike it, u know..

ok, then it prompt me another thought; ancient code.

ancient code is the act of chivalry tat even the new times cant change it's very essence. for example:

* opening a door for a lady
* keeping to one's promises
* loyalty to family and blood oath
* companionships and partnerships
* acts of selflessness
etc etc

i can write a lot, but i wanna go home. so i'll cont when the moment is right. :)

"who being loved is poor" - oscar wilde
(remembered tis during my form 5 exam, we were reviewing the answers and i was reminiscing, as i woke from my reverie i asked meself if i'll ever remember today. then i saw the phrase on the paper. another moment stop in time.)
