today's been melancholy, sweet and beige day, ya know, the kind of day tat kinda settles in real nice and smothers u real cozily.
anyway, been searching heads n lows on texas song "I'll see through it" and another guy who sang a song with chorus bout "can't get you off my mind, cant get u off my head..", very haunting, the mv was set at some irish hill top with a guy looking out to the scenery where his voice kinda brings u into his head and makes u think real hard and real long. tat kinda of song, u know. haunting. cant remember his name n song title, gona jot the name down in later date.
anyway, been reading up some stuff. read frm cosmopolitan's website on some stuff. if one ever get's the hang of the mag, it's a book enough to topple one's off bout sex topics n stuff. it's a whole sex n the city converse compiled in a book, no preservation and pretty much everything u need to know bout the topics. read more than 3 books per day n u get a hang over, literally.
was reading up interviews with reese witherspoon n jessica alba. smothering gals; one's a force to reckon with, southerner with lots of heart and fist while another a gal who never seems to belong but found her calling in the tinseltown. ironic.
anyway, jess was talking bout the things in life she absolutely can't live without. not much of a read there, till u read the last few lines. she was goin thru a period of hang overs with her previous ex frm dark angel episodes with the interviewer, then her posse bille came along.

"Oh, Bille is here!" she says excitedly. Bille Woodruff is Alba's best friend and a definite TSCLW. They hit it off instantly when Woodruff, the filmmaker behind the recent hit Beauty Shop, directed Alba in Honey. It was Woodruff who, in the aftermath of Alba's breakup from her Dark Angel costar Michael Weatherly, bought her the book The Art of the Seduction, by Robert Greene. The tart and twisted relationships primer is also on Alba's TSCLW list.
Bille: Jessica didn't really need The Art of the Seduction, but I wanted to remind her of the diva that she is.
Jessica: He was like, "Don't go out with guys who are lame," because I was seriously depressed.
Bille: That was my tough love. I was like, "Don't let him call you anymore!" She did not stop crying. She was like, [mimics crying] "Nobody likes me..."
Jessica: It was the worst.
The two friends share a knowing look, but it's not all about nursing bad breakups. "Whenever I'm feeling fat, Bille takes me shopping and makes me try on jeans that make my booty look bigger," Alba says. "Well, I don't want her to get too skinny," says Bille. "You know, that Hollywood thing."

*sigh..how come nobody buys me the art of seduction book? or brings me out to try out clothes tat makes me looks fat? sad sad. some times posies really are the best cure for anything. weird aint it?
but then, i dun think i'm actually open enough to actually discuss cosmo stuff over tea or any meal, i might just choke meself.
last few days i think i felt a bit of an esp experience goin on.
was havin luncheon with a bunch of friends and suddenly i felt a presence at the arrival of a friend; a very low, silent feel, like a black hole. it was very disconcerting. i tried to ward it off like some shadow frm me mind, but it was very stubbornly attached to the mind. weird huh?
read a link frm coll. Sexy images hurt your eyesight

The closer these emotionally charged images occurred prior to the target image, the more frequently people failed to spot the target image, the researchers found.
"We observed that people failed to detect visual images that appeared one-fifth of a second after emotional images, whereas they can detect those images with little problem after neutral images," Zald says.
"We think there is essentially a bottleneck for information processing and if a certain type of stimulus captures attention, it can jam up the bottleneck so subsequent information can't get through," Zald explains.
"It appears to happen involuntarily. The stimulus captures attention and once allocated to that particular stimulus, no other stimuli can get through" for several tenths of a second.
