Different Perspective
My sis started her work as a waitress at some fast food restaurant.
On her first day, she came back at nite telling us that it was no fun working there; no meal provided and it was hard work. Even a coll asked her if she wants to quit.
Then she wanted to kill my other sis (who worked there before) for giving her false info.
And I think, it's such a different perspective for each persons who work at a place.
My other sis is more optimistic and curious compared to this sis who is a bit more pampered.
Thus, we've predicted that she'd hav a hard time getting used to being given orders or scolded for making mistakes due to her temperament.
But like wat they always say; Life is by far the best teacher there is.
So, good luck to her. :DLabels: Daily

Christian Bale, Another Favourite
Well, here's another article of men that interest me.
I just bought Equilibrium and saw how his performance instigate Batman, The Beginning.
He was awesomely cool in Equilibrium, being intense (his trademark) and to my surprise, most of his speeches are spoken without any show of teeth. Some of the acts doesnt make sense to me (like when he rammed into a door, tight and awesome, and then stood up while ppl are firing rounds), but the review mentioning that he was so intense that he's almost breaking from the intensity got me into getting that movie.
I notices these sort of stuff cos some ppl speak with the upper and lower teeth shown, while others spoke with on lower teeth show, and etc.
Then I read up on his other interviews (one of my favourite pastimes) and realised, this is the same guy who did the Greek fisherman in Captain Corelli's Mandolin!
That Greek fisherman was unimpressive at first watch, second watch only I realised the quiet nicety bout the person who acted the Greek fisherman. He left an impression of a faceless presence.
And that for me, is good enuf to add him on as one of my favourite actor list.
But dammit, he's English.Labels: Favourite, Movie

Harder to Work
I discover it's getting harder for my to work under the command of a boss who doesnt trust what I am doing or what I understand.
I nodded my head in understanding during a meeting discussion only to have my boss telling everyone that "She doesnt understand..". It does make a person's esteem plunge. Makes me wonder if he knows how to respect another person.
And it's getting harder to trust my instinct when all I want to do is my job and be excited bout it but most of the time I'm getting a hard time from the person who pays my salary.
I wonder if working means trying to prove one over and over again which slowly in the process, one slowly starts to think like a completely different person than who she or he is originally or supposedly set out to be.
I really do not want to turn into a person who reads the mind of the boss. And I also dislike to work for somebody who keeps on intimidating it's employees.
But how does one stand strong to their beliefs while at the same time disprove a dictator?
I guess one doesnt.Labels: Daily, Pain
