Christian Bale, Another Favourite

Well, here's another article of men that interest me.

I just bought Equilibrium and saw how his performance instigate Batman, The Beginning.

He was awesomely cool in Equilibrium, being intense (his trademark) and to my surprise, most of his speeches are spoken without any show of teeth. Some of the acts doesnt make sense to me (like when he rammed into a door, tight and awesome, and then stood up while ppl are firing rounds), but the review mentioning that he was so intense that he's almost breaking from the intensity got me into getting that movie.

I notices these sort of stuff cos some ppl speak with the upper and lower teeth shown, while others spoke with on lower teeth show, and etc.

Then I read up on his other interviews (one of my favourite pastimes) and realised, this is the same guy who did the Greek fisherman in Captain Corelli's Mandolin!

That Greek fisherman was unimpressive at first watch, second watch only I realised the quiet nicety bout the person who acted the Greek fisherman. He left an impression of a faceless presence.

And that for me, is good enuf to add him on as one of my favourite actor list.

But dammit, he's English.

gotta love the originality of equilibrium's pistol fights... plus there's an admirable amount of underlying meaning to the movie for substance's sake
