thou shalt not conform when thou could blaze thy own path..

Rat Year is a drag

Countdown to 2008 Chinese New Year.

I had been bringing in the dust storm in my house, cleaning non-stop since last weekend.

I cleaned the living room, the second master room, the kitchen, the balcony, the cobwebbed ceilings, the other bathroom, mopped the whole place..and did it all by myself cos my sis was too lazy to help me. She cooked tho. I really need to start learning how to cook cos this is a phucking bias bartering system.

Did 4 laundries last nite, bought softener from Carrefour and couldnt stop using it and it smelt oh so good..

Cleaning ups always have a calming effect on me.

Oh yea, my mum and aunt bought a business and gonna to start soon this year.

She asked me if I would like to go back and help em out, watching over the family business.

I've weighed the pros and cons of goin back and work for my family.

And basically, I still cant see the light of things.

Pros of working for family
- less stress, flexible working hour
- more decision making experience
- ppl management

Cons of working for family
- naggings
- quarrels at home
- not much freedom (meaning one cant be as lazy as one used to be)

My sis also told me that living with family has its down. When first went home, they'll treat one as nice as possible. After a few months, all the spots will appear.

It's really tough living w parents, especially w nagging mum and parents who never see any point in finding a compromise in their daily lives. And the world record repetitive naggings and complains tat never fail to appear due to different buttheaded stubborn-streak personalities living under the same roof. *die..

Never fail to make me want to jump off the nearest balcony or roof.

PS : Dear sisters who are reading this article, please do not tell mum this before I do. Thanks.
